The Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) Nominating Committee is pleased to announce the slate of candidates for election by the Membership at the Annual Meeting in Kansas City, MO, October 5-7, 2025.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The FSMTB Board of Directors is comprised of seven (7) members who are elected to serve a three-year term. (FSMTB Bylaws Article VI, Section 1 and Section 6). There are three open positions for election in 2025.
The 2025 slated candidates for the Board of Directors are:
Position 1 – three-year term
Paul Andrews – Massachusetts
Nicole Davis – New Jersey
Sharon Oliver – Maryland
John Price – Idaho
Position 2 – three-year term
Three candidates unsuccessful in being elected to Position 1
Position 3 – two-year term
Two candidates unsuccessful in being elected to Position 2

NOMINATING COMMITTEE
The Nominating Committee has three (3) members who serve a one-year term. (FSMTB Bylaws Article VII, Section 2).
The 2025 slated candidates for the 2026 Nominating Committee are:
Foad Araiinejad – Alabama
Ahmos Netanel – California
Charlene Russell – Mississippi
Jan Shaw – South Carolina
Meet the candidates:
Board of Directors and Nominating Committee members shall be elected by a majority vote of the Delegate Assembly. If a candidate does not receive a majority vote on the first ballot, reballoting shall be limited to the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes for that position. (FSMTB Bylaws Article V, Section 4(C)).
