Annual Meeting
Annual (Fall) | In-Person
The FSMTB Annual Meeting brings together massage therapy regulators, state board members, and industry professionals to learn, exchange information, and share insights on the issues shaping massage therapy regulation. Through educational sessions, discussions, and networking opportunities, attendees can engage with peers and colleagues focused on supporting effective regulation and public protection.
Audience: All FSMTB members and interested stakeholders who support the FSMTB mission
FSMTB Support: FSMTB sponsors two delegates per board/agency

Massage Board Executive (MBE) Summit
Annual (Spring) | In-Person
This yearly event provides opportunities for executive directors/chief administrators and staff from each state member board or agency to gather and discuss key issues of mutual concern and share experiences that may benefit others.
Audience: Executive directors, chief administrative officers, and board/agency staff
FSMTB Support: FSMTB sponsors one executive director/chief administrative officer per board/agency
Registration: Additional board/agency staff may attend at the expense of the board/agency

These quarterly virtual webinars are hosted by the FSMTB and are designed to address common concerns and emerging trends affecting massage therapy regulation across jurisdictions. The sessions are tailored for board members, executive directors, and board staff, offering an opportunity to learn from subject-matter experts, stay current on regulatory developments, and engage in meaningful discussion on issues impacting boards nationwide.

Massage Attorneys Panel (MAP)

This quarterly virtual event provides massage board attorneys with a dedicated forum to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and engage in thoughtful discussions on legal trends, regulatory developments, and issues impacting massage therapy boards.

Case Conversations
Monthly | Virtual
This monthly mini-seminar is hosted by The Atkinson Firm and is designed specifically for the regulatory community. Each session reviews recent case highlights, examines issues of particular importance to regulators, and includes a facilitated discussion on the implications for regulatory attorneys. Cases are carefully selected from current and relevant regulatory matters to ensure a broad and practical range of topics.
Executive directors and board attorneys from state boards and agencies are eligible to attend the Atkinson Firm’s monthly seminars using an FSMTB access code. To obtain the code, please email membership@fsmtb.org.

Human Trafficking Summits

These regional summits are held in select member states based on identified needs, available resources, and state requests. They provide an important educational opportunity for state regulators, law enforcement, and related professionals working to address illicit massage businesses and human trafficking. The summits examine how these issues impact massage therapy regulation and explore ways regulators can work collaboratively to prevent and combat human trafficking.
