Only administrators and faculty of approved massage therapy education programs will be granted access to the EVC. Students and graduates applying for the MBLEx®, please click on the MBLEx Requirements and Process button below.
The EVC allows approved massage therapy schools and programs the ability to efficiently verify education for their students or graduates that have applied to take the MBLEx.
Authorization to use the EVC is within the sole discretion of the FSMTB. It is a privilege granted to approved massage therapy schools and programs and comes with responsibilities and obligations to provide truthful and accurate information, promptly correct errors and omissions, and timely respond to requests from FSMTB.
Verify Education for a Student or Graduate from Your School:
1. Login to the Education Verification Center (EVC).
2. EVC users will see the “Verify Your Students” widget IF they have students waiting to be verified. Click on the blue “Student Verification” button.
3. Click on the pencil icon under the “Update Student” column.
- If the student attended your program and is ready to be verified follow these instructions:
Click on the calendar under the “Start Date” field and put in the date the student started classes.
Click on the calendar under the “End Date” field and put in the date that your student graduated or is planning on graduating.
Click “Save”.
Click “Approve”.
- If the student did NOT attend your program, click “Reject”.
4.Follow steps 3a (for student verification) or 3b (for student rejection) for all students that are listed in the Student Verification Portal.
Please Note: If your school has elected to pay for students’ MBLEx application fees, you will be prompted to verify their education before you can submit the payment. Please return to the dashboard when you have finished verifying students and check to see if you have any other pending actions in your EVC account.
Register for an EVC Account:
- Please review the Terms & Conditions for Use of FSMTB’s Education Verification Center (EVC) by clicking the button below.
- Click on the EVC Account Registration button below to complete the registration request form.
Once submitted, FSMTB will review your request. Approval for EVC Access may take up to five (5) business days.
