FARB

The Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards is an Active member of the Federation of Associations of Regulatory Boards (FARB). FARB fulfills a public protection purpose of sharing information related to professional regulation, particularly in the areas of administration, assessment and law.

FARB member organizations and representatives come from such diverse professions as veterinarians, optometrists, psychologists, chiropractors, physical therapists, funeral service examiners, long term care administrators, pharmacists, accountants, architects, nurses, engineers and land surveyors, social workers, massage therapists, barbers and cosmetologists, counselors, dentists, podiatrists, medical licensure, law examiners, and contractors licensing agencies.

The FSMTB Executive Director serves on the FARB Board of Directors.
